A general guide to how our fees are structured
Our service fees are determined by the logistical requirements of the work to be performed and the substantive characteristics of the matter. As a rule, the client knows the full agreed fee in advance.
Fixed fee
A fee predetermined by the attorney following review of the matter, for performing the work stipulated by the agreement.
Hourly
Calculated as the product of time spent on the matter and the hourly rate of the lead attorney at the time the agreement is concluded.
Retainer
A fixed monthly fee under a legal services agreement concluded for a minimum term of 6 months. The monthly retainer amount is determined individually.
Training modules
The cost of VLS LEGAL training centre corporate services is determined according to the individual needs of the procuring organisation.
Special Pricing & Pro Bono
Members and veterans of the Georgian Defence Forces, including soldiers fighting for Georgia's interests abroad, are entitled to all our services free of charge or at preferential rates in public and criminal law disputes. Additionally, any individual, legal entity or state body may apply for our pro bono services or discounted rates. Any such application must be substantiated. The substantiation must clearly answer the question — what valuable legitimate objective does our service serve?
